Myself and my 4 kids (15,12,9 and 3) did this tour in the holidays and loved it! It was a great balance of site seeing a city and keeping active for the kids. We even stopped along the way for an ice cream break! Our guide was intuitive and determined what we would enjoy and where to focus on the tour. They sorted bikes for each of the kids and got a baby seat for My little one. It was a really super experience, I can highly recommend it!
Discovering cities on a guided bike tour has become a kind of hobby for us. It´s a really good way to get to know new places. This also applies for our tour through Tirana in July. We were lucky enough to be the only participants in our group which made the experience even more intense. As the center of Tirana is mostly flat the tour was not physically demanding (except for the heat). Traffic in Tirana is a bit chaotic but there are also plenty of cycle paths. So this was not a problem for us. Our guide Evis led us safely through the „rapids“ of the city traffic. He turned out to be a very smart and knowledgeable young man with a great enthusiasm for his city. Within 3 hours we got to see a lot of ancient and new Tirana and learned interesting facts about the old and new history. We also had the opportunity to have in-depth conversations about culture, politics and the country in general and received good tips for exploring the city even further after the bike tour.
We absolutely recommend this tour for everybody longing to learn more about Tirana without wearing out the soles of their shoes.
Faleminderit shume, Evis, për turin e këndshëm dhe informues.
Arid is a great tour guide who is very knowledgeable of Tirana and Albania. His English is perfect, and the bike tour is just the right length (11km) and time (2.5 hours). Would do this right when you get to Tirana to get your bearings and you can explore whatever you want afterwards.
very nice bike tour through Tirana, you get a good impression of the city now and in the past. the guide did a very nice job.
